Master Production Scheduler

Their primary capabilities include: nitinol components, balloon expandable stents and balloon catheters, delivery systems, biomedical textiles, access kits, and guidewires.
Position Summary:
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing a production plan to satisfy demand generated by customer orders, development and/or feasibility jobs. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing the Warwick factory with a monthly production plan that aligns with the sales forecast and plant capacity.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is required.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supply Chain/Materials Management.

Lean training and Kaizen experience (Pull, Heijunka, Kanban) a plus.

Previous experience in an engineering to order/make to order environment preferred.

Medical device experience preferred.

Experience in a master scheduling a plus.

APICS Certification preferred.

Expert proficiency in personal computer and system software skills to accomplish word processing, worksheets, and ERP/MRP systems.

Proven experience developing and implementing pull Kanban systems and/or VMI systems from scratch.

Create a finished goods master production plan for the four value streams while considering production capacity, sales forecasts, sales history and trends, engineering and new business opportunities.

Completes quarterly supply and demand analysis.

Review the sales forecast on a monthly basis with customer service.

Responsible for production order execution and working with operations to insure that on time delivery, cycle time and fill rate goals are met.

Develops, recommends, and implements improvements and changes to materials management reporting systems: including Kanban (both supplier and customer) and Vendor Managed Inventory (supplier and customer).
